Introducing our newest incredibly efficient robot, Three.
Three has a need for speed. We've outfitted this robot with our fastest ever motors, yet retained the same quick development and learning, easy expansion and powerful computing of our larger machines - with excellent results!
Three is our greenest robot! The simplified design reduces materials. This means less aluminum, fewer electronics and rechargeable batteries. And as always, we've used no toxic plastic molding processes.
Another bonus: the digital sensing option minimizes required electronics while providing fantastic navigation capabilities.
Three is constructed as follows
* Open frame, see-everything design
* Powerful 2-wheel drive combined with a multi-directional rear wheel
* Ergonomic computer mount
* Scaled-down chassis built to last
Three comes with
* USB motor controller with 4 integrated digital inputs
* Computer to USB hub cable
* Computer strap for secure autonomous mode operations
* 8 cell rechargeable battery holder
* Power switch, fuse, noise reduction capacitors
* 2 120 RPM gearhead motors
* Machined aluminum hubs
* Tough 6.7" H X 2.7" W tires
* All components installed, soldered, wired, & interconnected
Options
* Three-sensor digital infrared navigation array
* 8 or 16 rechargeable NiMH 9.6V batteries plus charger
* Larger robot chassis to accommodate 6+ pound laptops
Add-ons
Expansion is easy! When you're ready, add USB plug-and-play sensors and I/O controllers to expand the capabilities of your robot. A couple of bolts, a few snap-in cables, connect a USB cable and commence programming.
